The works combine urban imagery, shadows, and fragmented visual surfaces with textual references drawn from the poetry of Anna Akhmatova, creating a dialogue between personal memory and collective emotional experience. “Rising From the Past My Shadow” reflects on the traces of the past and how memories remain within us. The shadow becomes a symbol of identity, memory, and personal history. The poetic text exists not only as language, but also as a visual and conceptual element that shapes the meaning of the works.
