Descrizione:  This work explores the fragility of interpersonal relationships—with all their visible and invisible layers. The textured background, created with acrylic paint and fine sand, symbolizes the surface of our existence: rough, porous, and yet translucent. Rendered in light, almost ethereal hues, it alludes to the apparent lightness that is, in reality, full of tension and sensitivity.
The two brittle twigs represent two individuals—once vividly connected, now marked by transience. Their proximity to one another remains vague: Do they touch? Or are they held together only by external circumstances? They are surrounded by delicate papers bearing calligraphic text fragments. The writing is legible but inaccessible—deliberately concealed. It stands for the unspoken, the no-longer-communicable, or that which must remain hidden so as not to shatter.
“Layer by Layer—We” is an attempt to make visible the subtle tension between closeness and distance, between expression and silence. It is not about telling a story, but about conveying a feeling—the feeling that relationships are never completely tangible, but always remain, to some extent, transparent, fragile, and mysterious.
