Descrizione: There Will Be Spring

This collage was created in 2022 after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It was the first collage I made away from home. Yet Kyiv, the city I had to leave, was not my original home either — years earlier, war had already forced me to leave my hometown of Makiivka.

The work reflects on the fragility of home and the human ability to preserve an inner sense of stability in the face of repeated loss. Symbols of domestic life, anxiety, and collective pressure coexist with images of blossoming and growth. Here, spring is not merely a season, but a state of hope that remains possible even after home has been lost.
