Descrizione: The TETRIS object is a spatial form enclosed in a cube.The textile was woven on an 8-shaft handloom using Radziuszka – a traditional folk weaving technique from north-eastern Poland. The warp of the fabric consists of undyed linen, while the weft features dyed linen intertwined with silver lurex thread and cotton.The TETRIS cube is like our life; each face and its pattern of blocks symbolize different stages, while the fringes represent movement, volatility, and the fleeting nature of our existence. The piece can be rotated and presented in various arrangements and suspensions indefinitely – a squaring of the circle, an infinity where the past meets the present and foreshadows the future.
