Videoart Metamorphosis nasce come spazio di indagine sul cambiamento: trasformazione del corpo, dell’identità, della materia, del paesaggio, della memoria, del linguaggio digitale. In un tempo segnato da transizioni accelerate e mutazioni costanti, il video si configura come medium privilegiato per intercettare il fluire, la soglia, l’instabilità fertile.

Metamorphosis is not a sudden event. It is a silent process, a continuous tension between what is and what is about to become.

Videoart Metamorphosis is conceived as a space for exploring change: the transformation of the body, identity, matter, landscape, memory, and digital language. In a time marked by accelerated transitions and constant mutations, video emerges as a privileged medium to capture flow, thresholds, and fertile instability.

Chi può partecipare?

Contemporary Spaces invita artistə e filmmaker a presentare opere di videoarte che esplorino la metamorfosi come esperienza visiva e concettuale. Sono accolti lavori sperimentali, narrativi, astratti o ibridi che interrogano il rapporto tra immagine in movimento e trasformazione, tra tecnologia e organismo, tra percezione e alterazione.

Come partecipare

Invia la tua candidatura compilando il form che segue entro il 7 marzo 2026.
Non dimenticare di includere:

  • Una breve biografia (max 300 parole).

  • Alcune immagini significative del video proposto (in bassa risoluzione per la candidatura.

  • La descrizione del video, incluso un link che permetta di visualizzare il video, ad esempio:

    • link a piattaforme di streaming come YouTube o Vimeo

    • link a file tramite WeTransfer o SwissTransfer

    • link a una cartella condivisa su Google Drive o simili

Assicurati che il link sia accessibile senza restrizioni, così da consentirci di visionare correttamente il tuo lavoro.

Fee di partecipazione

  • 1 video: 49 euro

La fee sarà da versare solo in caso di selezione e non in fase di candidatura.


Esposizione

I video selezionati saranno esposti dal 14 al marzo 2026 presso Con/Temporary Spaces Santa Teresa a Torino, nel cuore della città

Who Can Participate?

Contemporary Spaces invites artists and filmmakers to submit video art works that explore metamorphosis as a visual and conceptual experience. We welcome experimental, narrative, abstract, or hybrid works that investigate the relationship between moving images and transformation, between technology and the organism, and between perception and alteration.

How to Participate

Submit your application by filling out the form linked below by March 7, 2026.

Please include:

  • A brief biography (max 300 words).

  • Some representative images from the proposed video (low resolution for the application).

  • A description of the video, including a link to view the work, for example:

    • A link to streaming platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo

    • A link to files via WeTransfer or SwissTransfer

    • A link to a shared folder on Google Drive or similar

Please ensure that the link is accessible without restrictions so we can properly view your work.

Participation Fee

  • 1 video: 49 EUR

The fee is only due in case of selection, not at the time of application.

Exhibition

Selected videos will be exhibited from February 14 to 21, 2026 at Con/Temporary Spaces Santa Teresa in Turin, in the heart of the city.
