Katarzyna Szczytowska – visual artist specializing in embroidery in mixed media. At the center of her artistic research is the human being: behavioral and cognitive processes, the experience of neurodiversity, and the concept of the inner journey as a form of self-exploration. Born in Poland, she currently lives in Italy; for many years she has worked as a nomadic artist while maintaining a strong connection to her roots.
Since 2018, she has been working with flat stitch embroidery and mixed media, treating thread as a tool for drawing and recording emotions. Her works combine the precision of craft with reflections on identity, memory, and mindfulness, creating intimate narratives about the human experience in the contemporary world.

Al centro della sua ricerca artistica si trova l’essere umano: i processi comportamentali e cognitivi, l’esperienza della neurodiversità e il concetto di viaggio interiore come forma di conoscenza di sé. Nata in Polonia, vive attualmente in Italia; da molti anni lavora come artista nomade mantenendo un forte legame con le proprie radici.
Dal 2018 lavora con il ricamo a punto piatto e tecniche miste, trattando il filo come uno strumento di disegno e di registrazione delle emozioni. Le sue opere uniscono la precisione dell’artigianato a una riflessione su identità, memoria e consapevolezza, creando narrazioni intime sull’esperienza umana nel mondo contemporaneo.
