Biografia

Originally from New York and now based in Turin, Italy, my practice explores femininity, emotional complexity and personal transformation through symbolic figurative painting. Drawing from a background in graphic design, fashion, I create compositions that combine bold geometry, saturated colour and psychological tension.

Influenced by the visual language of the 1980s and the Memphis movement, my work reinterprets playful forms and vibrant palettes through a deeply personal lens. Fragmented bodies, symbolic gestures and surreal spatial relationships become vehicles for exploring vulnerability and emotional contradiction.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, I approach painting as both an intuitive and reflective process — balancing humour, discomfort and visual disruption. My compositions often exist between dream and reality, inviting multiple interpretations while remaining rooted in an autobiographical experience.

I studied graphic design at the University of Florida, College of Fine Arts, where I developed an enduring interest in colour relationships, composition and the emotional potential of visual structure.
