GENEROUS LANDS
Water & Silence collection
Generous Lands is an artistic investigation into belonging, memory, and transformation. It emerges as a gesture of gratitude toward the territories that have shaped my life experience: Argentina, New Zealand, and Spain.
Through ceramics, I explore the relationship between time, materiality, and presence, approaching the creative process as a practice of observation, listening, and contemplation.
The works presented in the Water & Silence collection inhabit an imagined ecosystem of their own, arising from the intersection of desert plant organisms and coral-like forms within underwater landscapes. Rather than representing specific species, they evoke living systems in constant transformation, where growth, adaptation, and fragility coexist in balance.
Within the context of the FLOWERS exhibition, these sculptures offer an expanded interpretation of the idea of flowering. The flower appears not as a literal representation, but as a symbol of emergence, renewal, and vital force. Their forms suggest organic structures that sprout, unfold, and inhabit space, inviting reflection on natural cycles and the many ways life finds expression.
Each sculpture brings together intention and spontaneity in the revealing of form. Through tactile surfaces, subtle gestures, and an abstract aesthetic inspired by flora and the natural world, the work seeks to create a contemplative experience that encourages an attentive connection to cycles of transformation, reflecting the beauty and resilience of life.
