Descrizione: Going Atomic sits at the collision of painting and photography, a space where the two mediums stop working separately. Both are pressed to answer the same question.
What forms an image, and how far can a photograph be pushed before it starts behaving like a painting?
The image was built entirely in camera, through duration, not a single click, with nothing added or changed after the shutter closed. Exposure and time are material here, the way pigment and gesture are material to a painter. Paint stood in front of the lens while the exposure ran, and for those seconds the camera worked more like a brush, pulling gesture directly into the image as it happened. What results is a field of color and motion, without a single fixed subject to settle on.
