I am a photographic artist working across photography, installation, video, and conceptual practice. After studying German Literature at Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and University College London, I completed my Fine Arts diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in 2001. My work explores perception, memory, language and atmospheric spaces through photographic and interdisciplinary approaches. Since the late 1990s, my work has been exhibited internationally in Germany, the UK, Austria, France, and the USA, including exhibitions in New York, London, Paris, Salzburg, and Munich. I have participated repeatedly in the Underdox Festival for Documentary and Experiment and exhibited at venues such as the Museum of Photography Burghausen, Seidlvilla Munich, and Rathausgalerie Munich. My artistic practice has been supported by several grants and awards, including funding from the Rudolf and Gisela Steiner Foundation, the Academy Society Munich, and the Cultural Department of the City of Munich.
