Elena Baud is a Swiss-based textile artist and designer whose practice bridges embroidery, sculptural textile, and contemporary mixed media. Trained at the Institute of Architecture in Ekaterinburg (Master in Art & Design), she developed a multidisciplinary approach that combines technical precision with experimental material exploration.

With over two decades of experience as an independent designer (Sarafan, Geneva and Ardon), her work has evolved from fashion into a deeply personal artistic language centered on fiber, texture, and transformation.

Her practice investigates the tension between construction and decay, control and organic emergence, using thread not only as a medium but as a structural and expressive force.
