Descrizione: I think this piece of work most definitely speaks for itself. I also created this collage in the Autumn of 2025, once again speaking of how it gave a different message at the time, it was a forewarning, not a reality. This plays with the idea of "americanism", of what you feel whether pride, whether shame, whether the American concept of freedom. It doesn't tell you what to feel, it tells you to sense, how do you truly feel about the situation. Perspective is always key, the frag could be protected, or conquered in this instance, and the feeling which these gentlemen in the foreground feel, could be shame, could be freedom, or could even be the freedom or shame of others. The top left is a feature which intrigues me looking back, it seemingly imitates the American flag in some sense, or acts as a watermark to what the nation stands for. It is begging the question, what is America to you?

It speaks of bubbles of joy, within darkness, and looking out for these in particular. Looking at life is very different when the news and politics are not on your mind everyday. That being said, people are still suffering everyone, and almost always have been, and yet this continues, we are indeed all mute, and unfortunately, much more than we realise, and unfortunately, there is not much we can do it about it, but look for these bubbles of joy in your life, because that will bring light to the dark.
