Descrizione: Large part of my artistic practice is devoted to naturally dyeing various fabrics with plants. Sustainability and the protection of nature are very important to me, so I make full use of these fabrics in my work. This piece was created entirely from various small leftover fabric scraps. As in my work about the moons, I am thinking about time. The moon changes and transforms each week. In contrast, the time of the sun is constant, yet not eternal. It is like a plant that has lived through its summer season. I have preserved it in the fabric, but it is not everlasting.

This work was born from reflections on the old and the new. My first thought was of the moon, which cyclically grows and wanes. In a similar way, my fabrics are reborn in new forms and images. Some become dresses or skirts, while others are transformed into works of art.
