Mariele Caruso Tecnica: Oil on paper Anno: 2022 Dimensione: 28 x 38 cm Descrizione: My first self- portrait. This painting marked the beginning of a more personal relationship with portraiture and with myself, too. Sometimes when I look at this painting, I feel I was braver back then. There’s something spontaneous in the way I painted myself, especially in the use of color, which I still love today.
