Effe Tecnica: Acrilico Anno: 2025 Dimensione: 92×89 cm Descrizione: C'è un momento molto intimo e suggestivo in cui si abbandona il proprio ruolo, la "maschera" e si entra nuovamente in una dimensione di abbandono e autenticità, ma questo accade anche all'inverso. Questo momento sospeso che a tutti è a tutti gli effetti uno "spazio" sospeso è rappresentato visivamente dall'atto di spogliarsi e vestirsi, azioni contrapposte che in un attimo preciso risultano indistinguibili. Precisamente in quell'attimo la persona in un gesto intimo ma innocente e quotidiano si mostra, pur nascosta, nella sua essenza più pura. -

Gli occhi chiusi custodiscono un mondo interiore, intimo e insondabile in cui la realtà sfuma nel sogno. Al suo fianco, un corvo vigile e inquieto custode di presagi e complice silenzioso. Un incontro sospeso tra delicatezza e inquietudine. L’attesa è tensione, energia invisibile, un respiro trattenuto prima della rivelazione. -
Effe Tecnica: Acrilico Anno: 2025 Dimensione: 130×135 cm Descrizione: L'opera rappresenta un momento intimo e quotidiano cioè quello del vestirsi e del denudarsi. C'è un attimo che è un vero e proprio spazio sospeso in cui non si distinguono le due azioni pertanto costituisce il preludio di due possibili esiti: il ritorno ad uno stato di vulnerabilità e autenticità mediante l'abbandono delle vesti e quindi del ruolo ricoperto precedentemente oppure, al contrario, il ritorno ad uno stato cosciente attraverso la vestizione e dunque l'assunzione di una forma coerente specifica di contesto e di posizione. Quell'attimo di sospensione del gesto quotidiano e comune del soggetto viene immortalato rappresentando la più pura autenticità dell'essere, la sua vulnerabilità e insieme una serena compostezza nonostante la sensualità del corpo e l'intimità dell'atmosfera che si percepisce. -

The work prompts us to reflect on how our identityis constructed not only through what we create,but also through what others see in us. -

The image is converted into repeated text "You are safe." It highlights our society's reliance on being observed, and the illusion of safety that it brings. It highlights how we as a society freely give up our freedom and privacy and hand it over to corporations and governments in order to feel protected. -
Massimo Ravara Tecnica: Mixed Technique Anno: 2025 Dimensione: 38×50 cm Descrizione: A reflection on intimacy, and the blurred thresholds of reality. In an age saturated by self-broadcasting and voyeuristic impulses amplified by social media, this work invites a pause—a moment to reconsider how these dynamics distract us from the tangible reality in which our lives unfold. The linguistic games once theorized by Lyotard have evolved into virtual bubbles, isolating individuals from the essential rhythms of daily existence and human connection. Within these bubbles, the intimate gesture, the influencer’s latest outfit, the devastation of war, and environmental collapse are flattened into a single plane of perceived relevance. "Step Aside from Yourself" is a call to shift our gaze away from the reflected self—no longer just a psychoanalytic construct, but now refracted through likes, comments, and followers. What lies behind this mirror may be unsettling: conflict, poverty, despair, ecological ruin. Yet it may also reveal moments of grace—direct human contact, dialogue, children at play, a walk through the forest. The images, printed on semi-transparent polyester, invite the viewer not only to leaf through them physically, but to navigate the subtle interconnections between seemingly distant environments and experiences. -

By placing elements of war—camouflage, insignias—into the home, the work collapses the boundary between civilian and militarized space, revealing how contemporary systems of power operate not through direct force, but through subtle infiltration. Smell of War reflects on ultra-contemporary structures of control: atmospheric, internalized, and emotionally encoded. The piece evokes how war, even when distant, becomes intimate—how it enters through the air, settles into routine, and haunts the domestic. -

The device functions as a metaphor for affective and structural overcompensation, where the excess of fastening elements highlights the fragility of the support and the disproportionality of the effort. By exaggerating a domestic visual code (the fridge magnet), the piece shifts the intimate toward installation, revealing an economy of imminent collapse. Its formal economy places pressure on the boundaries between support and symbol, affection and containment, visibility and subjective precarity.
