Descrizione: A work created on antique linen using texture impressions. The background is a blend of “old gold” oil paint and natural pigments, enhanced with gold-thread embroidery. The flowers are formed from textile impressions. To me, fabric is a living surface: it absorbs, retains, and allows things to pass through. It creases, stretches, and bears marks. It embodies the Breath. It brings the painting to life.Each impression is an imprint, each deposit of pigment, a suspended breath. The embroidery—slow and precise—traces a line of light, like a precious scar or a seam connecting the invisible to the visible.
