The Siren is a Moroccan-born, self-taught visual artist based in The Hague, Netherlands. Working primarily in oil painting, her practice explores the psyche through surrealism, symbolism, dream imagery and archetypal forms. Her work investigates the unconscious, shadow, fragmentation, liminal states and processes of inner transformation. She is currently developing The Siren in Exile, an ongoing personal mythology in which recurring symbols and dreamlike landscapes form an evolving visual language around descent, transformation and return to self.
