At the center hovers the ancient Wheel of Fortune – not merely a symbol, but a living mechanism of the cosmos, where fate simultaneously bestows and takes away. A nude figure spins on its axis, lost in a dance between ascent and descent. Around her, the symbols of the era intertwine: gold coins and bitcoins, Olympic rings devouring flesh, and hands that both pray and curse. Hovering above the wheel is a dark archangel-demon with wings made of ancient coats of arms, holding the spiral of infinity in his hands. Next to him is the mask of modern success: a smiling woman with the inscription “Keep Smiling,” which hides emptiness. Below is an electric chair transformed into a throne for those willing to sell their souls for a seat at the table. Here, Greek gods drink soda and chew gum, Roman emperors wear headphones, and sacred symbols are mixed with memes and cryptocurrency. The entire composition is imbued with the sense that we have long since ceased to control our own destiny – we are merely extras in a grandiose, absurd, mystical spectacle where Fortune has long since gone mad and spins the wheel to the accompaniment of chaos. “Fortune” is not just a collage. It is a revelation that in an era when everything is bought and sold, true mysticism lies precisely in this mad wheel, which continues to spin, indifferent to our prayers and curses.
