CALL FOR ARTISTS
PLANET.
PEOPLE.
RESPONSIBILITY.
PLANET FIRST — 12 Visions for the Energy of Change is an art, communication and participation project promoted by uBroker in collaboration with Arteaporté.
The project aims to translate Ubroker’s ESG vision into images, inviting artists, illustrators, graphic designers and creatives to interpret the concept of Planet First through the contemporary language of the poster.
For Ubroker, Planet First represents an approach to sustainability that goes beyond the environmental dimension alone, taking into account the planet, people and the principles that guide decision-making. The company’s programme draws on the three pillars of Environmental, Social and Governance, addressing themes such as impact reduction, inclusion, community well-being, transparency, ethics and responsible innovation.
The open call will lead to the selection of 12 original artworks, which will form a visual collection dedicated to a sustainable future.
The proposed themes are:
PLANET.
PEOPLE.
RESPONSIBILITY.
The twelve artworks may be used to communicate Ubroker’s Sustainability Report and, more broadly, become a visual asset for the company’s corporate and marketing communications.
Among the twelve finalist artworks, Planet First Poster 2027 will be selected through a vote involving uBroker employees. The winning artwork will become the cover of the following Sustainability/Social Responsibility Report, and its creator will receive a one-week artistic residency in Turin.
The project thus transforms the Sustainability Report from a simple reporting document into a cultural object, shaped by the perspective of a new generation of creatives.
CONCEPT CURATORIALE
Planet First significa scegliere cosa mettere al primo posto.
I 12 POSTER COME ATLANTE ESG
SOCIAL — Nessuna transizione senza persone

CURATORIAL CONCEPT
Planet First means choosing what to put first.
We live in a time when every choice has consequences: consuming energy, building a business, designing a city, working, innovating, producing and communicating.
Putting the planet first means more than simply protecting nature.
It means questioning the relationship between energy and the future, individuals and communities, growth and responsibility.
It means asking ourselves what kind of world we are fueling through our decisions.
This question is at the heart of the open call.
If you had to tell the story of “Planet First” through a single image, what kind of future would you choose to show?
The open call invites artists and designers to create new visual interpretations of responsibility. Not didactic illustrations of sustainability, but posters capable of raising questions, inspiring new imaginaries and making visible what often remains abstract.
Works may be poetic, conceptual, ironic, radical, typographic, photographic or illustrative.
The poster thus becomes a small public statement: a few seconds to catch someone’s eye, a single image to leave a question behind.
THE 12 POSTERS AS AN ESG ATLAS
The Planet First Poster Collection 2026 will bring together 12 original works, divided into the three ESG pillars: Environmental, Social and Governance. A visual atlas inviting new perspectives on sustainability, moving beyond conventional representations and making room for original, contemporary creative languages.
ENVIRONMENTAL — The Planet We Fuel
Energy, resources, climate change, regeneration and conscious consumption: how can we imagine a more sustainable future?
SOCIAL — No Transition Without People
Communities, inclusion, equal opportunities, education, training and well-being: positive change puts people at its heart.
GOVERNANCE — The Future Begins with Decisions
Responsibility, transparency, ethics and innovation: every choice helps shape the world of tomorrow.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The open call is international and open to visual artists, illustrators, graphic designers, photographers, digital artists, students and graduates of art academies and design schools, collectives and multidisciplinary creatives.
Each participant may submit up to 3 original proposals, accompanied by a short concept of no more than 1,000 characters.
FORMAT AND TECHNIQUES
The recommended master format is 70 × 100 cm, portrait orientation, with the possibility of adapting the work to A4/A3 formats and major digital formats.
The technique is unrestricted: illustration, photography, collage, typography, digital art and mixed media. Works must be original, and participants must hold the relevant rights. Any use of generative artificial intelligence tools must be declared during the application process.
Proposals that use the Ubroker and Planet First brand colour palettes will be preferred.
Including the Ubroker and Planet First logos in the creative proposal is not mandatory, but it is encouraged.
PRIZE AND ARTISTIC RESIDENCY
The employees of uBroker will vote to select the Planet First Poster 2027 from the 12 selected works. The winning poster will become the cover of the following Sustainability/Social Responsibility Report.
The winning artist will receive a one-week artistic residency in Turin, at one of Arteaporté’s Con/Temporary Spaces.
The 12 works will become part of the Planet First Poster Collection 2026 and may be used in uBroker’s institutional, editorial and promotional communications, both online and offline, as well as in potential dedicated exhibitions.
