Montserrat Rodríguez, also known as nyx10110, is a multidisciplinary artist. Born in Barcelona, ​​she currently lives and works in the Girona and Costa Brava area for family and creative reasons. She studied Geography and Visual Anthropology. Her training in Contemporary Art is largely autodidact, supplemented by courses and workshops. In her work she explores her vision of ecology within new media arts such as video art, experimental and performance photography, and soundscapes. Since 2022, she has been experimenting with alternative photographic processes such as anthotype, cyanotype, and scanography… The themes she works on revolve around her personal relationship with memory, time, and water. For her, it is essential to understand her natural environment and express the models she constructs in her mind from her personal experiences in nature and her domestic world, following a process of artistic dérive and playing with chance and the uncontrolled.
