  • I Will Tell the Forest Who You Are evokes the forest as a sacred space, a sanctuary of the living world. The figure, at once an eye, a spirit, and a guardian of the forest, stands at the threshold between the visible and invisible worlds. It echoes an animist vision of nature, in which the living world is inhabited by presences, forces, and spirits with which humans can enter into relationship. Its message — “I will tell the forest who you are” — suggests that the forest is also a witness to our presence and to our relationship with the living world. The work thus brings an ancient, spiritual perception of the world into dialogue with contemporary questions surrounding our relationship with nature.
  • The Shedding

The Shedding explores shedding as an initiatory process, both spiritual and deeply human. Letting go of an old form in order to allow a new one to emerge becomes a necessary step in an inner journey. The figure’s enlarged eyes evoke a heightened state of awareness, as if opening onto a different perception of the world. The work suggests a moment of inner transformation, in which an old form of the self falls away, making space for a new way of being in the world.
  • The Becoming

The Becoming explores transformation through a spiritual and archetypal dimension. The female figure evokes one of the faces of the Great Goddess, an ancestral presence connected to nature, creation, destruction, and the forces of transformation. Through her contact with the human being, she triggers a process of metamorphosis, as if a new relationship with the living world and the invisible world were taking shape. The work thus evokes an encounter with a sacred force that acts upon the human and opens the way towards a new state of being.

  • kodamorkovkart  Tecnica: Watercolor Anno: 2026 Dimensione: 21 x 29cm Descrizione: Botanical Mystery" is a watercolor journey into the hidden depths of a lush, verdant realm. The artwork blurs the lines between portraiture and botanical illustration, presenting a serene, obscured figure enshrouded by colossal banana leaves. A striking Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia) flower emerges, not just as a feature of the flora, but as an intrinsic part of the subject's identity, partially veiling her face and hair. This juxtaposition evokes a sense of quiet revelation, where the human form is consumed and transformed by the beauty of the natural world. The piece explores themes of metamorphosis, the unknowable depths of the self, and the symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature.

  • The Tower

    130,00
We are inside the Tower at the very moment of its collapse. Walls split open, floors buckle, and the familiar structures that once seemed permanent are suddenly revealed as fragile. There is no safe distance from which to observe the catastrophe: the viewer is placed within it, surrounded by falling stone and fragments of a world coming apart. The card evokes the profoundly unsettling moment when certainty disappears; when beliefs, identities, relationships or carefully constructed lives can no longer sustain themselves. The Tower is not simply destruction; it is the violent rupture of an illusion of permanence. What collapses is often what we believed we could not live without. There are no human figures within the Tower. I wanted the viewer to inhabit the card completely: to be alone inside the collapse, not watching someone else's disaster, but experiencing their own. Yet destruction also contains a strange promise. Once the old structure has fallen, something new can be imagined. Only after disruption can we rebuild. Only when the walls come down can we discover what lies beyond them. As the Zen poet Ikkyū is often paraphrased: “Now that the roof is burning, I can see the stars.” The Tower belongs to Andrea Aste’s Tarot of Crossed Destinies, a Tarot deck conceived as a visual journey through the architecture of fate, imagination and human experience. The Deck is inspired by Italo Calvino’s Castello dei Destini Incrociati and conceived as a myriorama: a landscape composed of interchangeable visual fragments, allowing different configurations — and therefore different worlds — to emerge.
