La finestra, irraggiungibile nel cielo, apre verso un altrove silenzioso e indefinito, trasformando lo spazio in una soglia mentale dove il confine tra sogno e memoria si dissolve. -
Simon Metzger Tecnica: Olio su tela Dimensione: 60cm x 50cm Anno: 2025 Descrizione: A bordo di un carro trainato da gatti, la dea Freyja attraversa lo spazio cosmico. Con gli occhi chiusi appare sognante e assorta, quasi distante dal mondo circostante. Come dea nordica dell’amore, della bellezza e della fertilità, tiene le redini con la mano sinistra, mentre con la destra si appoggia o sostiene una sorta di lancia. Sullo sfondo si apre un cosmo ricco di stelle insieme a un piccolo UFO, che conferisce alla scena una dimensione surreale e senza tempo. I gatti sono raffigurati vigili e dinamici, protesi in avanti con grande slancio. Durante il processo pittorico, il volto di Freyja è cambiato più volte; nella versione finale ricorda una principessa delle fiabe in stile Disney o la Fata Azzurra di Pinocchio. -
Simon Metzger Tecnica: Olio su tela Dimensione: 67cm x 54cm Anno: 2020 Descrizione:Lo spazio raffigurato appare chiuso, quasi senza tempo. Un tavolo, coperto da un drappo, si trova al centro del dipinto su un tappeto, come se fosse preparato per un rituale. Sopra di esso fluttua un gigantesco piede di gallina — estraneo, corporeo, quasi minaccioso. La luce entra nella stanza da destra e incontra uno specchio che sembra inclinare lo spazio verso un’altra dimensione. Si crea così uno spazio instabile tra realtà e riflesso. La scena rimane priva di figure umane, eppure appare permeata da una presenza invisibile. È uno stato di sogno? La preparazione di una seduta spiritica? Lo spazio sfugge a ogni spiegazione univoca. Il dipinto si muove tra quiete e inquietudine, tra umorismo, irritazione e simbolo. -

Sopra di essa, una sfera eterea cerchiata d'oro funge da lanterna cosmica, illuminando il sentiero del silenzio interiore e della saggezza profonda. -

She guards Fairytale Fortress Forever, perched high up on the mountainous cliffsides of our story. Its stone walls are now mostly cracked, a ruin evoking the passage of time. Her dwelling, located at the crossroads between the ancient past and the distant future, is a sacred space where any Magician can dream a new reality into being. The enduring power of The Sphinx is symbolized in her mystique, her eternal riddle, which spirals and leaves us guessing at every turn! -

I am keen on the process itself, I wish to grab the revealing subconscious.with harsh emotional intensity, a strong, instinctive, irrational load and I wish to know where I can put this process to a stand. -

Tecnica: Digital artwork created in Microsoft Excel Dimensione: 60 x 40 cm Anno: 2025 Descrizione: Artificial Friends (AF) is a digital work created in Microsoft Excel. The piece shows two doll-like figures standing together in an open space, surrounded by loose marks, grids, and fragments of color. While making the work, I was thinking about artificial companionship and the idea of human-like dolls or AI figures made to become friends with people. At the same time, the image can also be read as two human figures who appear social, decorative, and close to one another, but remain emotionally separate. The figures are playful but slightly uneasy. Their clothing is built partly from visible grid patterns, connecting the image back to the spreadsheet itself. I was interested in the difficulty of friendship — whether between humans, or between humans and artificial beings — and the strange gap between being near someone and truly knowing them. The work uses Excel as a drawing space rather than a spreadsheet, pushing a rigid digital tool into something more personal, awkward, and expressive. -

The piece uses a limited palette of purples and yellows to build a face that feels both playful and slightly uneasy. The image is simple at first glance, but the expression is hard to pin down. The figure seems calm, awkward, watchful, and vulnerable at the same time. I was interested in making a face that did not feel polished or idealized, but had its own strange presence. The work uses Excel as a drawing space rather than a spreadsheet. The rigid structure of the software is pushed into something more immediate and human, with rough lines, flat color, and visible imperfections left in the image. -
Tecnica: patchwork improvvisato Dimensione: 122cm x 141cm Anno: 2026 Descrizione: Qualche anno fa ho iniziato a esplorare il tema degli ornamenti tradizionali dei popoli del mondo, realizzando numerosi schizzi ispirati a diverse culture. Alla fine, la mia attenzione si è concentrata sull’arte popolare dei Nenets, un popolo indigeno che vive nel nord della Russia. Nell’abbigliamento, nelle calzature e negli oggetti della vita quotidiana dei Nenets ricorrono spesso motivi a zigzag. Questo elemento è diventato il punto di partenza per il mio progetto. Partendo da uno schizzo ispirato a questi motivi tradizionali, ho sviluppato un quilt contemporaneo, reinterpretando il linguaggio ornamentale nenets attraverso il tessuto e il patchwork moderno. -

Guardando gli altri dall'alto in basso — se pure si degna di guardarli — è chiaramente superiore a tutti noi. Ed è la prima a fartelo notare. Incarnazione di potere, ricchezza, ignoranza e cieca audacia. -

Dimensione: 5016px x 8414px Anno: 2026 Descrizione: "The Observer" explores identity as a fragmented structure composed of competing emotional and rational states. Interconnected figures occupy a seemingly infinite yet internally contained mental space, where geometry attempts to impose a coherence on an unstable inner world. The main figure is distinguished by an additional pair of eyes representing an enhanced capacity for perception, which doesn't necessarily lead to clarity. The fragmented phrase in Slovak ("rozum po rozume", "po rozume nie", "porozUMENIE") is a continuous shift between the reason, misundesrstanding and understanding. It reflects the conflict between the desire of mind to make sense of experience and the impossibility of fully doing so. -
